Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease attraction or repulsion generated between mutual apparatus having pressure, and to simplify the supporting structure from the groundwork thereof by a method wherein the inside diameter of an expansion joint between the mutual apparatus is made smaller than the inside diameter of a connecting vessel having an expansion joint fitted thereto. CONSTITUTION:A gas valve 8 is equipped to the expansion joint 9A connected to a bushing pocket 12 protruding from a transformer tank, and is supported by a supporting frame 13. While a lead wire 6 led out from the transformer is connected to the gas valve 8 through a heat part shield 7B of wall bushing and an insulator 7A. An insulating oil is filled up in the bushing pocket 12, and a decomposed gas detector 10 is equipped thereon. By making the inside diameter DA of the expansion joint 9A smaller than the inside diameter D of the bushing pocket 12, the pressure receiving area of the expansion joint 9A is reduced to (DA/D)<2> times, and pressure P kg/cm<2> of attraction or repulstion generated mutually between the apparatus can be reduced to (DA/D)<2> times also.
