CONSTITUTION:An upper face section 14 made of a thin board having no hole is jointed by means of welding or brazing to the front end face of a cylindrical side- wall section 1' having sufficient strength for holding the electrode. Then the extension shaping is performed on said section 14 to form a forward extension 15. Thereafter a hole 11 for controlling the electron beam is made at approximately central part of said section 14 with reference to the side-wall section 1'.
