Abstract

PURPOSE:To make multiple function detction possible with the 1st detecting element by applying square pulses to a series connecting body of a temp. dependent dielectric element and a resistor, and measuring temp., humidity and gas concn., respectively, from the transient time constant of the partial voltage of the resistor and its steady value. CONSTITUTION:A temp. dependent dielectric element 2 made by providing electrodes 102 on both surfaces of ceramics or film 101 of metallic oxide type such as Ba1-XSrXTiO3 (X=0-1) is obtained. A resistor 7 is connected to the element 2 and square pulses 6 are applied thereto to detect the partial voltage B of the resistor. On the other hand, reference voltage C and partial voltage B are compared with a voltage comparator 9, and the pulses D corresponding to the transient time constant are measured in a time measuring part within the signal time from a clock source transmission part 5. The electrostatic capacity and resistance value of the element 2 are operated by operating 11 from the outputs G, F from a time measuring part 10, and a voltage detecting part 8, whereby temp. and humidity are detected.
