Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the load to the central control unit to increase the processing capacity of the converting device and then realize a reduction of the memory quantity, by generating the information to be added to the communication screen via the exclusive picture signal generating circuit and at the same time coding the said information to store it at the storing part. CONSTITUTION:Picture signal generating circuit 22 is installed, and picture signal selecting circuit is excluded during the transmission. Input communication picture signal 33 is received 24 and coded 25 to be stored in memory 43 of storing part 28. When the transfer of the communication screen is over, the circuit 22 receives the information generated from CPU21 and then generates the picture signal via the original picture information. The original picture information is coded 23 and then stored at the area which is shown by additional information 41 of part 28.
