Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the lagging of average data for one repeater station by realizing a data repeating function on a ring transmission line by a dedicated circuit. CONSTITUTION:By way of level converter 10, received data RD is stored in prior- stage data buffer 12; when destination-address decoder circuit 14 judges that it is not addressed to its own station, it is transferred to main data buffer 13 and when there is no data sent from its own station, it is sent to a ring transmission line by repeating by way of transmitting gate circuit 19 and level converter 22. On the other hand, when it is found to be addressed to its own station by decoding, data in buffer 12 and successively-received data are stored in main memory 26 by way of data reception control circuit 15 and memory control circuit 25. If data would be sent from its own station to another station during the transmission of repeating data, the transmission of local data is put into a queue and after the sectioning of the block of the repeating data, local data is sent out via transmitting gate circuit 20.
