Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the wire from segging when the nozzle of a pipetting apparatus moves downward, and make said nozzle operate smoothly and speedily, by providing a coil-shaped compression spring to a release which transmits a driving force to the nozzle mechanism part. CONSTITUTION:When the nozzle is moved upward, a motor 49 rotates in one direction, the driving force is transmitted through a release 58, and a wire part 58a pulls up an actuating plate 60 secured thereto against the force of a compression spring 65. Accordingly, the nozzle 63 secured to the actuating plate 60 moves upwsrd and reaches the highest level when the motor 49 has rotated 180 deg.. When the motor 49 rotates moreover, the wire part 58a in the release 58 operates in the direction opposite to that on the upward movement of the nozzle. Accordingly, the force of the compressing spring 65 works so that the actuating plate 60 and the nozzle 63 secured thereto move downward without sagging of the wire part 58a. Because the nozzle is thus pushed down by the force of the compression spring, an accurate and speedy lowering is made possible.
