Abstract
PURPOSE: To supply molten metal easily into a sleeve and prevent the formation of defects by putting the leading end of a nozzle provided with a heating member in press contact with the circumferential wall of a sleeve for force-feeding of molten metal into the cavity in dies, and piercing holes for preventing heat transfer to around the nozzle press-contact part of the circumferential wall of the sleeve.
CONSTITUTION: A stationary die 2 is stuck to the side face of a statinonary table plate 1, and a moving die 3 is put in press contact with this die 2. Molten metal 6 is injected by means of a plunger 7 into the gap 4 at the intermdediate of said dies. One ends of fixing rods 8 are mounted to the upper and lower parts of the plate 1, and a molten metal supply hole 9 is pierced near the right end of the sleeve 5. The leading end of the nozzle 10 is abutted to this hole 9, and the molten metal 6 is supplied. Heaters 11 are provided around the nozzle 10 so as to prevent the molten metal in the nozzle 10 from solidifying. The leading end of the nozzle 10 is held in press contact with the spherical dent near the hole 9 by way of a graphite seat 12.
