Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the titled divice which is small in size, light in weight and inexpensive, and requires no pumps by a method wherein a magnetic fluid material is sucked in and discharged by using the first magnet capable of energizing deenergizing a magnetic field and the second magnet exerting a magnetic force smaller than that exerted by the first one. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic fluid material 7 is sucked up to a height H' by a sucking-up magnet 13 placed in a sucking-up pipe 10, and current is passed through a sucking-in electromagnet 14 provided at an upper part of an inside chamber 12 to attract the fluid material 7 onto the inside wall of the chamber 12 until the amount of the fluid material 7 thus attracted reaches a saturation point regarding the magnetic force of the electromagnet 14. The magnetic force exerted by the electromagnet 14 with current flowing therethrough is greater than that exerted by the permanent magnet 13, so that the fluid material 7 is caused to flow from a storage tank 8 toward an end part A of the magnet 14. When the conduction of current is cut off, the fluid material flows down (falls by drip) into the chamber 12 under its own weight (gravity) and is discharged through a discharge port 11.
