Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep the flux level in the dipping bath constantly and enhance the weldability, by moving a piston of specified structure vertically between the dipping bath and the reservoir, and feeding the flux to the dipping bath in upper part through a flexible pipe.
CONSTITUTION: Flux liquid 2 is poured into an upper chamber 3a. The liquid 2 flows into a lower chamber 3b from a hole 8 in a piston 5 through the piston 5. When the liquid level rises to a certain level in the upper chamber 3a, charge of the liquid 2 is stopped. In this state, when the piston 5 is moved vertically, the liquid 2 passes through a flexible pipe 4 to be pushed up into a dipping bath 1. When the flux liquid level in the bath 1 exceeds the height of the piston 5 projecting into the bath 1, the liquid 2 returns to a reservoir 3 through the piston 5, so that the liquid 2 level is always kept constant by operation of the piston 5. Therefore, when the position of the pole plate group to be coated with the liquid 2 is properly adjusted to the position of the bath 1 when the piston 5 is raised to the highest position, always a constant volume of liquid 2 may be applied.
