Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned hollow pipe having high fitting precision by hollow-molding a resin composite of specific melt index consisting of a mixture of crystalline polyolefin resin, and metallic alkyl benzoate and an inorganic filler as nucleating agent. CONSTITUTION:A resin composite having a melt index of 0.5-2.0 obtained by blending (A) crystalline polyolefin resin such as polypropylene, etc., (B) 0.1- 3.0 (weight)% of alkylbenzoate metallic salt (e.g., aluminium p-tert-butylbenzoate, etc.) and (C) 5-30% of inorganic filler (e.g., talc, mica, etc.), both (B) and (C) being based on the total quantity of the component, is used to perform hollow molding. Thus a required pipe can be obtained. It is recommended that the grain size of the component C is preferably less than 50mu.
