Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform efficient recording by canceling harmful nonlinear distortion by reconverting a reproduced signal into an analog signal by using the same current output type DA converter as that in recording. CONSTITUTION:With switches SW1 and SW2, an operational amplifier OP which is in a connected state to operate as a current-voltage converter by converting the current output of the operational amplifier into a voltage operates as a voltage output type DA converter consisting of a current output type DA converter DAi and the amplifier OP. When connected to operate as a voltage buffer amplifier supplied with an AD conversion input, it is made to operate as a high-input-impedance sequential comparing AD device consisting of the current output type DA converter DAi, a sequential comparing register 12, a voltage comparator 11, and the operational amplifier. Thus, this converter is used as both AD and DA converters, performing recording and reproduction efficiently.
