Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve a corrosion resistant property and a selective absorbing capacity, by a method wherein a selective absorbing film, which is formed through the chemical synthesis of a surface layer, whose main component is copper, with a given treating liquid, is formed on a surface of a base material.
CONSTITUTION: Copper, brass, iron, steel, plastic or other materials are used as the base material 1 of a solar heat absorbing substance. But, in case other materials than a material, whose main component is copper, are used, a surface layer 2, whose main component is copper, is formed on the surface of the base material by plating or other means. A selective absorbing film 3 is then formed through the chemical synthesis of the surface of the surface layer 2 by the use of a given treating liquid. Said treating liquid is prepared into a treating liquid which contains potassium permanganate, copper sulfate, and at least 1 type of salt out of cobalt salt, nickel salt, and chrome salt. The surface of the selective absorbing film 3 so formed is covered with a film 4 having a water-repellent property or a water resistance, and a light-transmitting property in a visible light area.
