Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a large object contact width with high sensitivity, by constitut- ing an electronic tactile sensor by a piezoelectric element, a resonance plate whih is fixed closely to the main face of this element, a tactile probe which is fixed to the main face of this resonance plate so that one end becomes free, etc. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic tactile sensor where a resonance plate 2 having a tactile probe 1 is fayed to a disc-shaped piezoelectric element 3, a rectangular contact 7 is fayed to the tip of the free end of the tactile probe 1. Specially, a saw tooth-shaped part 7a is formed at the tip of the contact 7. When this saw tooth- shaped part 7a is brought into contact with a solid object, which exists in gas or liquid, perpendicularly approximately and is slided, the contact 7 repeats a proper vibrating motion due to reggedness of the surface of the object and elasticity of the contact 1. Thus, vibration energy is converted to electric energy under conditions of high sensitivity and a large object contact width.
