Abstract
PURPOSE:To unify the station control processors at central and remote stations, by making the data transfer between the processors of a control device with the same method as transmission/reception to a common signal line via transmission/reception buffers, through the use of time sharing of the common signal lines. CONSTITUTION:In operating a satellite communication system with the totally variable multiple connection signal line carrier communication system by means of a centralizd control, a common signal line 7 is used in time sharing with earth stations A,B-N, and an exchange control device 1A of the central station is provided with network control processors 8, 11. Further, in the data transfer from a network control processor 11 to a station control processor 8, and processor 8 is regarded as being located at the remote station and the data trasnfer is made via reception buffer memories 13, 18 in the time zone assigned to the station. Further, at the transfer from the processor 8 to 11, it is made via transmission, reception buffer memories 17, 14 in the time zone of expected reception, taking that it is fed from a virtual remote station, allowing to unify the station control processors at the central and remote stations.
