Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize the generation of noxious gases and to improve the efficiency of combustion, by measuring conditions of flame and combustion gas of a boiler or the like continuously, inspecting the state of combustion through comparison of the results of the above measurement with reference values, and controlling operation of a combusting apparatus on the basis of the results of inspection. CONSTITUTION:Results of measurement are given as signals F1-F4 and G1-G6 to an operating unit 29 of a combustion inspecting system 24 and displayed at an indicating section 30. In the operating unit 29, the results of measurement are compared with respective reference values having a tolerance for each item of measurement. In case that a measured value is out of the limit of tolerance, the result of operation is given to a control instructing unit 25, in which the control data D2 of a memory 28 is stored. For the items of measurement the measured values of which are out of the limit of tolerance, control ends of a combusting apparatus 1 pertinent to these items are controlled with reference to the results of operation and the control data D2 by the output from the control instructing unit 25, according to the controlled variables stored in the memory 28.
