Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform machining in a stabilized state by applying high-frequency AC controlled by DC pulse overlappingly to a machining gap and thereby raising the dispersing property of the sparking part. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted so that a pulse-generating circuit 5 oper- ates to generate a pulse train during on-pulse of the output of a pulse-generating circuit 6, while the pulse train of the circuit 5 being interrupted during off-pulse of the circuit 6. An output-controlling pulse is applied to a switch 4, being placed under the switching control and making a DC pulse, which is supplied to the machining gap. The DC pulse corresponding to the above controlling pulse and given by interrupting control of the pulse train is supplied to the machining gap through the on-off switching control by the switch 4, and the current thus supplied is overlapped by the high-frequency AC through a resonance circuit 11, thus the electrospark machining being performed by the high-frequency pulse.
