Abstract

PURPOSE:To work a gear with high precision by a method wherein the rotation of a worked article is controlled electrically and synchronized with the rotation of a tool or with the linear displacement and feeding thereof. CONSTITUTION:Synchronous circuits 3 and 4 make addition and division based on detection pulses P1 and P2 from pulse generators 1 and 2 detecting the rotation and feeding of a hob, respectively and generate a pulse P3 for synchronizing the rotation of a worked article with that of the hob and a pulse P4 for synchronizing the rotation pulses P3 and P4 are composed by a pulse composer 12 and are transmitted as a composite pulse P9 to a servo-motor driving device 17. In this way, the worked article is rotated, being synchronized with both rotation and feeding of the hob, and is thereby formed with high precision.
