Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce vibration transmitting power from an engine to the car body, by arranging an intermediate ring on the outer circumference of bellows and making the intermediate ring behave in the opposite phase. CONSTITUTION:A compressed air feeding port 16 is formed in the center of a stud bolt 15A, the compressed air is charged into the bellows from the feed port 16, and an air spring consists of the bellows 10, a flange 11 on the side of an engine and a flange 13 on a car body. The intermediate ring 17 is arranged and held between the ridges of outer circumference of the bellows. The apparent spring constant and the virtual mass of the intermediate ring of the bellows 10 are so designated that the behavior of the intermediate ring 17 in the region of preventive vibration of the engine becomes the antiphase to the behavior of the flange 11 on the engine side at the inputting side of the vibration. By this constitution, dynamic spring constant is reduced, and the vibration transmitting power from the engine to the car body is reduced.
