Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain high accuracy engine control by counting signals, emitted in response to a certain specified rotary angle, and by taking in necessary information when the counted value reaches the specified sampling timing.
CONSTITUTION: The data for control of an engine such as amount of air suction, internal pressure of the cylinder and pressure of the intake manifold etc. will make pulsation according to the condition of engine, for ex. the pulsation period of revolvion speed of engine etc. In order to prevent error due to kind of pulse, the data sampling timing shall be instructed for the purpose of sensing those informations related to the period of pulse fluctuating in response to the engine operation, unit rotary angular signals shall be counted synchronously with a specified rotatary angle of the engine, and take in of the information shall be made by sensing the count's attaining the sampling timing. By repeating this process, the required information is obtained from two or more sampling timing values to determine the control value of the engine.
