Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled plate with superior photosensitivity, endurance and flexibility by forming a layer of a charge generating substance consisting essentially of amorphous silicon and a layer of a charge transferring substance contg. a specified compound on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:On electrically conductive support 2 layer 3 of a charge generating substance having <=5mum thickness and layer 4 of a charge transferring substance having 5-100mum thickness are formed. The charge generating substance is amorphous silicon doped with 10-50 atomic percent hydrogen, and the charge transferring substance contains >=1 kinds of compounds selected from (co)polymers such as polyvinylphenyl-anthracene contg. matrix units represented by formula I (where R1 is H or Br), (dialkylamine-substituted) triphenyloxazole compounds represented by formula II (where each of R2-5 is lower alkyl and R6 is H or halogen) and styryl dye bases represented by formula III (where each of R7 and R8 is methyl or ethyl; X is O or S; and Y is H, halogen, phenyl, methoxy or a group of formula IV).
