Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the total capacity of wave memory to be decreased, by using an envelope detecting means which follows the rising period of a detected signal and has a smooth time constant at falling period and obtaining the wave-form whose peak position and peak value are the same as those of the detected signal. CONSTITUTION:Instead of a detector wherein an integrater is used, is employed the envelope detecting means which has a small time constant at the rising period of the signal and has the large time constant at the falling period. For example, a diode 51 is connected in series, a capacitor 52 and a resistor 53 are connected in parallel, and a four terminal circuit is constituted. Since the capacitor 52 is rapidly charged through the diode 51 at the rising period of the signal, the output wave-form follows the rising of the signal. At the falling period, the amplitude decreases in response to the time constant determined by the CR. Therefore, the envelope wave-form whose peak position and peak value are not different from those of the detected impact signal is obtained. Thus, sampling in the wave memory can be delayed, and the capacity can be decreased.
