Abstract
PURPOSE:The titled ring that consists of a ring rotor engaged with a sliding collar of half circular arc crosssection and of a holder with a half circular arc groove of a larger curvature than that of the collar, thus giving smooth sliding at the point contact between the collar and the holder to need no lubricant and to lower the costs. CONSTITUTION:For example, the ring rotor 1 consists of the upper rotor 3 bearing the ring flange 2 on the top and of the lower rotor 4 which is forcibly fitted to the upper rotor 3. A depression is formed on the periphery of the middle part of the rotor 1 and a sliding collar 5 with a half circular arc crosssection whose sliding surface has a predetermined curvature, preferably made from a tetrafluoroethylene resin, is fixed to the depression. In the meantime, a half circular groove 6 with a larger curvature than that of the collar 5, preferably making a clearance of 0.05 to the arc surface of the collar 5, is made on the holder 7. Then, the rotor 1 is slidably fitted to and supported with the holder 7. EFFECT:Yarn break is reduced and the maintenance operations are simple.
