Abstract

PURPOSE:A rotary ring for yarn spinning in which a sliding collar of half circular arc is fitted to the upper and lower rotors is a specific structure and is supported with a holder consisting of upper and lower rings, thus preventing the infiltration of dusts and effecting the smooth rotation of the ring. CONSTITUTION:The rotor 1 consists of the upper rotor 3 with ring flange 2 on the top and the lower rotor 4 which is forcibly fitted to the upper rotor 3. A collar 6 with a plurality of grooves 5 or blades arranged in an equal interval is integrally set to the upper peripheral surface of the upper rotor 3. The rotor is provided with a step on the periphery of the middle part and with a depression 7 on the lower end. In the meantime, a plurality of quarter grooves 8 or quarter blades are formed on the lower end surface of the lower rotor 4 and a sliding collar of half circular arc 9 is fitted to the periphery of the middle part of the rotor 1. Consequently, the sliding collar 9 is fitted to the depressive groove 10 of half circular arc in the holder 13 consisting of the upper and lower rings 11 and 12 and supported with a fine clearance. EFFECT:The fluctuation in yarn tension is reduced to lower yarn breaks.
