CONSTITUTION:The integrator 6 performs an integral action according to the frequency difference between the signal V1 to be measured and the feedback signal V3. The voltage/frequency converter 7 produces the frequency signal proportional to the integral output. The divider 8 gives a 1/n-division to the output of converter 7 to deliver the signal V3, then the DC signal proportional to the frequency of signal V1 is extracted out of the integrator 6. At the same time, the integrator 6 performs an integration according to the polarity in phase difference between the signals V1 and V3 as well as the level of signal V1.
