Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the response property and to obtain a high-precision output, by performing an integral action according to the phase difference between a signal to be measured and an output of divider as well as the level of the signal to be measured at that moment and thus varying an apparent integral time constant of an integrator. CONSTITUTION:The integrator 6 performs an integral action according to the frequency difference between the signal V1 to be measured and the feedback signal V3. The voltage/frequency converter 7 produces the frequency signal proportional to the integral output. The divider 8 gives a 1/n-division to the output of converter 7 to deliver the signal V3, then the DC signal proportional to the frequency of signal V1 is extracted out of the integrator 6. At the same time, the integrator 6 performs an integration according to the polarity in phase difference between the signals V1 and V3 as well as the level of signal V1.
