Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive the armature to be reduced in an axial dimension and small- sized by a method wherein a commutator provided with a resinous annular body formed in bow-shape is fixedly attached to a shaft and also, insulating resin is filled up between the bowl-shaped part and a core side end. CONSTITUTION:The resinous annular body 17 is formed in such a manner of integratedly holding the segment 16 and an insert 18 to make up the commutator. In this case, a bowl-shaped surface 17a of the annular body 17 is formed at the same time. Further, the core 2 is fixedly attached to the shaft 1, a coil 3 being inserted in an outer periphery slot 2a of the core 2, and a coilend 3a and a pair of leading parts 3b are respectively projected from the left end of the core 2, and the commutator 15 is pressurized in the shaft 1 to cause the bowl-shaped surface 17a of the resinous annular body 17 to be pressed to the coilend 3a. Thereafter, epoxy resin 10 or the like in solid powderlike is deposited and hardened at normal temperature in a space between the side end surfaces of the end 3a, leading part 3b, slot 2a and core 2 and the bowl-shaped surface 17a of the annular body 17.
