Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify a character signal sending circuit and reocrd large characters and small characters selectively by the same matrix number by mounting a controlling means controlling the quantity of charges to ink grains and a polarizing period in the row direction in response to the size of characters. CONSTITUTION:When deflection information signals are output from a character signal generating circuit 12, synchronizing with the output (f) of an oscillator 11 and applied to a charged electrode 4 through an amplifier 9, ink grains 3 are charged in the quantity of charges corresponding to quantity to be deflected. The charged ink grains 3 are deflected in response to the quantity of an electric field during the time when they fly in the electric field by a polarized electrode 5 connected to a high-tension power source 10, and adhere at fixed locations in the row direction of a body to be recorded 7.
