Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the detection of the correction direction and to increase the change range of the correction speed by performing the time correction with a rotary switch which is normally or reversely turned by a crown and the fixed and movable contacts of which are in a numerical relation wherein there exists no common divisor. CONSTITUTION:When the crown is normally turned, contact signals are provided as the output from the rotary switch 30, in which two movable contacts S4, S5 and three fixed contacts S1-S3 the number of which has no common divisor are provided, in the order of S1, S2 and S3, and pulse signals appear at the output in the order of D, E and F through a latch circuit 8 and pulser circuits 12-14. And the addition correcting-signal X corresponding to the number of said pulse signals is produced by the direction detecting circuit 15 and the first correcting-signal gates 26. Also when the crown is reversed, the subtraction correcting-signal Y corresponding to the number of pulse signals is provided as the output by the direction detecting circuit 15 and the second correcting-signal gates 27.
