Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the driving control by two hand-driving systems with a simple additional circuit by a method wherein the driving circuit is also used as a mechanical unit and a simulated continuous hand-driving and a step hand-driving are controlled so that these may be arbitrarily changed to each other. CONSTITUTION:Pulse trains of 1Hz and 4Hz from a frequency divider 12 are fed to AND gates 16, 18 for the continuous hand-driving. On the other hand, pulse trains of 1Hz and 16Hz are supplied to an AND gate 20 for the step hand-driving. The output of a D flip-flop 26 is changed by a manual switch, and either of both alternating pulse trains of the continuous and step hand-driving is selected, and is fed to an exciter coil 46 of a synchronous motor 44 for the clock in order to operate the hands.
