Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit an excellent and uniform combustion of the fuel-air mixture and provide a gas burner capable of changing over combustion between two stages by arranging an inner tube, an intermediate tube and an outer casing so as to be approximately concentric with each other, and providing a large number of burner pipes at the ends of the inner and intermediate tubes.

CONSTITUTION: When a fan 50 is driven, the atmospheric air is made to flow in an outer casing 10, an intermediate tube 20 and an inner tube 30. In other words, a part of the atmospheric air is supplied through the secondary air passage P₃ to the flame hole part of respective burner pipes 40a and 40b. On the other hand, another part of the atmospheric air is made to flow in a fuel-air mixture passage P₂, mixed with the gas from the first gas supply pipe 61 through vent holes 21a and led out to the outside burner pipes 40a. Moreover, the other part of the atmospheric air is made to flow in a fuel-air mixture passage P₁, mixed with the gas from the second gas supply pipe 62 and led out to the inside burner pipes 40b. Thereby, the fuel-air mixture is uniformly and excellently burnt at the ends of respective burner pipes 40a and 40b. In addition, by opening and closing on-off valves in respective gas supply pipes 61 and 62, combustion can be changed over between two stages.
