Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform signal processing correctly by reproducing invariably excellent data under position control over a strobe clock by using a phase error signal between inverted position information on transmitted data and position information on a data strobe clock. CONSTITUTION:Data encoded by the MRZ method, stored and transmitted from input terminal 1 is inputted to comparators 10 and 11 via signal processing circuit 9 and the threshold voltage with which the data is discriminated is applied from comparator 10 to D type FF1-FF3. Further, a composite synchronizing signal is outputed from comparator 11 to synchronous separating circuit SEP. The threshold voltage supplied to comparator 10 is made to correspond to the cross point of the eye pattern of data automatically through the circuit consisting of FF2, FF3, inverter 12, AND circuits 13 and 14, current source circuits 21 and 22, capacitor 23, etc. Then, invariably proper discrimination is done to reproduce data before the recording and transmission excellently from the transmitted data.
