PURPOSE:To suppress noise due to a code error nearly completely by detecting the generation position of a code error noise in a received signal on the basis of the magnitude and the property of polarity inversion of a differential signal obtained from the received signal and by correcting it by interpolation. CONSTITUTION:Reader 1 reads seven starting samples r(1), r(2)...r(7) from a received signal, and reader 2 operates for the 2nd processing and later and reads one sample r(7) from the received signal. Then, calculator 3 calculates differential signals d(1)...d(6) from d(1)=r(2)-r(1), etc., on the basis of received signals r(1)...r(7) and sends the calculation result to r(1) output part 14 when d(3)d(4) is not less than zero or to calculator 5 when negative. Through calculators 5 and 10, discriminators 6, 7, 11, and 12, and setters 8 and 9, the generation position of a code error noise in the received signal is detected and the signal is corrected 13 by interpolation and outputted 14.
