Abstract
PURPOSE:To allow plastic lenses to self-align with respect to a mirror frame or within a lens system by providing pressure faces in the optical axis direction formed to a circular cone shape centering at the optical axis to a plastic lens. CONSTITUTION:Pressure faces 2a, 3a, 3b in the optical axis direction formed to a circular cone shape centering at an optical axis 0 are provided to plastic lenses 2 and 3. The faces 2a and 3a are formed to a circular cone shape of the same inclination, and a pressure face 4a of a circular cone shape of the same inclination as that of the face 3b of the plastic lens 3 is also formed to a mirror frame 4. The pressure faces 2a, 3a, 3b and the pressure face 4a of the mirror frame 4 cause the plastic lenses 2 and 3 to self-align to the mirror frame 4 as the force in the optical axis 0 direction is exerted on the lens 1 by a lens retainer 5. The self-aligning effect occurs most markedly when the angle formed with the optical axis with respect to the pressing direction is about 45 deg.C.
