Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the time of regulation as well as simplify the operation of correction by electrically regulating the starting time of injection of each ink jet head. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary drum is turned and one pulse is generated from an encoder each time the drum makes one turn, it is supplied to a counter 34. When the content of the counter 34 coincides with the content designated by a digital switch 100, coincidence signal is generated from a coincidence circuit 110 and sent to an address counter 80 which makes a further stepping, and the memory content of a memory block 9 is orderly read out. One difference of signal from the digital switch 100 corresponds to the signal of one time, or one line, per one rotation of the drum, and the starting time of injection of the head can be altered by altering the designated value of the digital switch 100. Thus, since the position of the head in relation to the direction of rotation axis of the drum can be regulated, the distance between each of all heads can be corrected by providing this system to all of the heads.
