Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower the sharpness of resonance of a converter and miniaturize a recording head by using a trapezoidal or fan-shaped converter for electric machine. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet recording head by which ink is injected from an ink chamber by a deformed shape of the converter of electric machine, trapezoidal or fan-shaped converters are radially arranged in prallel. Thus, with respect to its vibrational characteristics by frequency, the range of resonance point is wider and the sharpness of resonance is lower, whereby making the driving frequency of the converter higher. Accordingly, the upper limit of the vibrating number of forced vibration given from outside is eliminated, and the ink jet recording head can be driven at higher vibrating numer from outside. Also, when compared with the case where a rectangular converter is used, it can be more compacted. Furthermore, since the converters are radially arranged, duct resistance from nozzle to the converters can be equalized.
