Light quantity control circuit PVC consists of resistances 1-4, transistors Q1-Q3, and so on and operates to lower the light quantity of light source L for a high signal level of the output signal of peak hold circuit PH and increase the light quantity of light source L for a low signal level of the output signal of peak hold circuit PH.
