PURPOSE:To eliminate a sound of rotation generated when a conventional stepping relay, by exercising full-electronic on-off control over an electric power source and volume control by use of a shift register. CONSTITUTION:As a remote controller applies a pulse to the base of transistor 27, the input is supplied to input terminal (5) to turn on transistor 28 and then the contact of relay 29 is closed to supply voltage +B1. A voltage determined by variable resistor 21 and resistances 24-26 connected between the +B2 voltage terminal and respective output terminals 1-4 of shift register 20 is developed at the sliding terminal and supplied to volume control terminal 22. The voltage supplied to terminal 22 is varied by selecting one of resistances 24-26 differing in resistance value by applying the base of transistor 27 with pulses in sequence. Consequently, a sound is controlled to small, intermediate and large levels.
