In this case the pump 3 is stopped at the moment that the input power source of the printer is instantaneously interrupted, but the injection from the nozzle is continued, resulting in that the ink in the accumulator 4 is recovered from the gutter to cause the ink to overflow in an ink tank 2. A subtank 5 is provided to prevent it.
