PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of abnormal high voltage by a method wherein cores are combined, each of which is provided with built in high-voltage diode together with primary winding and secondary winding and form a magnetic path, and the entirety is integrally molded with thermoplastic resin, etc. into which conductive carbon black is mixed. CONSTITUTION:Primary winding 22a, 22b are wound on an outer circumference of a bobbin 21, and secondary winding 24a, 24b are wound on the winding through insulating paper 25. An insulator 26 for preventing creeping leakage is mounted between the secondary winding 24a, 24b. High-voltage diodes 27a, 27a' and 27b, 27b' of every two pair are wired to the winding end of each secondary winding 24a, 24b, inverting the conductive direction, and the other ends to each secondary terminal 28a, 28a' and 28b, 28b'. Laminated cores 101 are installed to a central hole of the bobbin 21, and a magnetic circuit is formed. Epoxy group resin 31 is filled in the inside, and the outer circumference is molded with thermoplastic resin 32 into which conductive carbon black as content such as 5-6% is mixed. Thus, the generation of abnormal high voltage is prevented even when an ignition plug is brought to an opened condition, and ignition coils can be manufactured at low cost.
