Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the time adjusting device for the electronic watch wherein the direction of a counter can be changed forward or rearward by using the output of a circuit judging the operation sequence of two switches, and changing the counter mode of a map down counter. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of chattering removing circuits 15 and 16 for switches 17 and 18 are inputted to set terminals of FF2 and FF3 via gates 4 and 5 which receive Q' outputs of FF3 and FF2. The outputs through inverters 13 and 14 are inputted to reset terminals of FF3 and FF2. The Q outputs of FF2 and FF3 are inputted to a clock terminal of an up and down counter 1 via gates 7 and 8. The Q output of FF2 is inputted to a mode changing terminal of the up and down counter. In this constitution, since the output is generated in one of FF2 and FF3 in the operating sequence of the switches 17 and 18, both the mode change of the up and down counter and the count correction can be made.
