Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable direct measurement of the heat quantity transmitted by the heat pipe by a method wherein a measuring device for a flow rate of a working medium flowing back from the heat-radiating part of the heat pipe to the heat- absorbing part thereof is provided in the middle of a connecting pipe connecting the heat-radiating and heat-absorbing parts. CONSTITUTION:In the measuring device 3 for transmitted heat quantity which is provided between the heat pipe 1 and a heat exchanger 2 are provided a weighing cup 32 which is operable from the outside through the intermediary of an operating handle 33 fitted air tightly in a reservoir 31 provided in the middle of the connecting pipe 4 through which the working medium releasing its latent heat to the outside at the heat exchanger and turning to be of liquid phase is made to flow back into the heat pipe, and an electric bulb 34 for illumination which is connected to a power a source, and both of the cup and the bulb can be observed from the outside through side glass panel 35.
