Abstract
PURPOSE: Titled resin composition having excellent storage stability and curability and being useful as an adhesive and a laminating material, prepared by mixing an epoxy resin, dicyandiamide and/or a hydrazide and a thiuram.
CONSTITUTION: The resin composition of the purpose is obtained by uniformly mixing, for example, in a mixer or between rolls, (a) 100pts.wt. of an epoxy resin having at least two, per molecule, of epoxy groups, (b) about 2W30pts.wt. of dicyandiamide and/or an organic acid hydrazide such as succinic acid hydrazide and (c) about 0.1W15pts.wt. of a thiuram such as tetramethylthiuram disulfide, tetraethylthiuram disulfide or dipentamethylenethiuram hexasulfide.
