Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance purity of the atmosphere in a furnace and eliminate the adverse influence by gaseous impurity as far as possible by preventing the direct contact of the atmosphere in the furnace and the atmosphere of outside of the furnace in carrying the articles to be treated and the treated articles into and out from the furnace. CONSTITUTION:The door 3 of a parts feed port is opened, and the parts 5 to be soldered are placed on a parts push-in bar 4. After the gas in a gas substituting chamber 7 is substituted with a gaseous nitrogen, an isolating door 8 is opened and the parts 5 are pushed by the bar 4 and are placed on a conveyor 2. The parts 5 are automatically conveyed on the conveyor 2, attain the soldering temp. near the heating zone by heating elements 6, are cooled upon passing said zone and are carried to an isolating door 9. The door 9 is opened, the parts 5 are put into a gas substituting chamber 11, the door 9 is closed, a parts take-out port 10 are opened and the soldered parts 5 are taken out. Since the conveyor 2 moves perfectly in the atmosphere of the furnace and does not come to the outside of the furnace, carrying of the oxygen and moisture in air into the furnace does not occur.
