Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare various products having different taste from the same raw material in high efficiency, by subjecting ground fish paste successively to the forming, heating, drying, seasoning, thermal fixing, slitting and packaging processes wherein the seasoning process is selected arbitrarily and specifically to the product.
CONSTITUTION: Lightly seasoned fish paste is extruded through the extruder 5 to the delivery roll 6 in the form of flat web, and its surface is heated by radiation. The raw material is then heated on both sides in the heater 9, and dried in the hot- air dryer D. The dried raw material is cooled in the chilled air chamber 15, and seasoned by passing through the seasoning liquid 16. The seasoning liquid is selected properly so as to give the desired taste e.g., of cuttlefish, cod, sea urchin, etc. to the food. A plurality of the seasonig liquids may be used in series. The seasoned material is cut with the cutter 18, stacked on the truck 19, placed manually into the oven 20 to fix the seasoning liquid, slit with the slitters H and I, and packed with the package machine J.
