Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify structure and to enhance durability of a photoreceptor, by using a developing fur brush roller for charging the photoreceptor, and a developing device for a charging device. CONSTITUTION:Fur brush roller 25 for developing is connected with the power supply means of developing electrode 36 and charging power source 37. The outer circumference of photoreceptor 4 is charged by connecting change-over switch 35 with source 37, leaving roller 25 and brush roller 26 in pause, thus permitting roller 26 to attract toner by connecting change-over switch 38 with DC power source 39 when receptor 4 is charged, that is, the toner is unnecessary, the developing device to be used for charging, therefore, structure to be simple, receptor 4 not to be damaged by using roller 25, and to enhance its durability.
