Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently and economically prevent deterioration of a lubricant by supplying a water-soluble lubricant from a working step to a retention tank and circulating the lubricant to the working step after it is cooled to and kept at a temp ≤20°C.
CONSTITUTION: After a lubricant used in cutting process 7 is introduced through filter 5, emulsion stabilizing device 2 and oil-water separator 6 to retention tank 4 equipped with cooler 1, and cooled to a temp ≤20°C, it is circulated through filter 3 to the cutting process 7. Said retention tank is pref. one in which refrigerant passage pipe 10 equipped with radiant heat-absorbing board 18 is placed and the lubricant introduced goes out through exit pipe 9 after cooled, with the lubricant introduced through inlet pipe 8 and pump 4 flowing down through aperture 19 of lubricant injection pipe 12, and with air sent through pipe 11 flowing up through aperture 20 as air bubbles.
