Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the entering of frictional heat and improve the stability of characteristics by a method wherein metallic clothes having large thermal conductivity and insulating clothes having small thermal conductivity are alternately laminated on one section of the surface of an annular superconductive wire, synthetic resin is impregnated and the clothes are unified. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive wire 12 is wound annularly, insulating clothes 13 woven by an electric insulating material such as glass fiber are inserted between the layers and put on the surface, and metallic clothes 14 woven by metallic small wires having large thermal conductivity such as copper and said insulating clothes 13 are alternately laminated on one section of the surface. The whole superconductive coil 11 is impregnated with synthetic resin 15 such as epoxy resin, and unified. Thus, when the superconductive coil 11 is used as a magnet, frictional heat generated on the surfaces of laminated sections is prevented by the insulating clothes 13 having small thermal conductivity and entering heat is further discharged outside the superconductive coil 11 by the metallic clothes 14 having large thermal conductivity. Consequently, the entering of the frictional heat into the coil 11 is decreased, and stability can be improved.
