A basic clock generated in a motor clock circuit 101 feeds the plural kinds of the frequency clocks through the most suitable clock generating circuit. A clock frequency selecting circuit 303 selects the clock used for the output of the detecting device 301 through a waveform shaping-circuit 302 and capable of most suitably driving the fitted recording medium out of the clocks having plural kinds of the frequencies and outputs the same to a driving signal generating circuit.
