Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a boosting function from immediately getting lost when manual operation is started because of the defectiveness of a hydraulic pressure source, by providing an orifice in a hydraulic pressure supply passage between an accumulator and a boosting chamber.
CONSTITUTION: When a working liquid pressure source has becomes defective due to the trouble of a pump 47 or the like, a power piston 2 is driven for its first stroke to move a ball 39 out of a deep groove 38. After that, the power piston 2 is actuated under a boosting function by the stored pressurized liquid of an accumulator 31. The stored pressurized liquid of the accumulator 31 flows from a chamber 34 to a boosting chamber 3 through a port 36, an orifice 43, an inlet port 42, a ball valve 41, a groove 22, a port 21 and a valve 16 to drive the piston 2 by the liquid pressure to attain the boosting function.
