Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the developing capacity of the developer from being decreased with a temperature increase by introducing cooling wind into a copying apparatus by an air conduit member and a blast means from the outside of the copying apparatus and concentrically blowing the same to a developing device thereby cooling the developing device. CONSTITUTION:In order to cool a developing device 4, a suction fan 6 is operated so as to generate negative pressure in an air conduit member 5. Thereby, the air outside the apparatus is sucked as cooling wind through the member 5, flows through a suction hole h4 and is blown to the casing bottom surface of the developing soln. 4. While the blown cooling wind is cooling said casing bottom surface, it flows along said bottom surface, flows out from cooling wind blow out holes h2, h3, h4, h5, and goes out of the apparatus from the exhaust part. If the developing device is cooled in this way, the temp. of the developer is kept around 8.5 deg.C in contrast to a temp. rise of 18 deg.C of the case no cooling is available.
