Abstract

PURPOSE:To cool an exposure device and a fixing device as well as space effectively with one unit of fan by sucking the air of a duct which cools the periphery of the fixing device into a duct for cooling the space around the exposure device. CONSTITUTION:A duct 45 is provided within the body 31 of an electrophotographic copier, and cools an exposure device 48 consisting of a light source 47 and a reflecting body 46 therein and the space around the same. Air of a duct 55 communicating with a paper feed cassette 37 via a fixing device 39 is sucked to the duct 45 through a connection part 54. Thereby, these devices and the space is cooled efficiently with one unit of a fan 51.
